Welcome to Background Remover. By accessing or using our web application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. General Terms

Background Remover is a web-based tool that allows users to remove backgrounds from images and videos. These Terms govern your access and use of the App. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App, or any part of it, at any time without prior notice.

2. Subscriptions and Payments via Paddle

The App offers subscription-based access to its services, processed through Paddle. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• The subscription provides a 3-day free trial period, after which you will be charged $9.99 per week unless you cancel the subscription before the trial ends.
• Payments are securely processed by Paddle, and you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms & Conditions in addition to these Terms.
• Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the premium features of the App.
• Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Paddle platform or by contacting our support team.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time before the trial period ends to avoid charges. Once the trial ends, and a subscription charge is made, payments are non-refundable.

If you believe you were charged in error or experience technical issues preventing you from using the App, please contact us at [email protected], and we will review your case. Refunds may be issued at our discretion.

4. Use of the App

By using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the App, including by attempting to hack or distribute malware.
• Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the App, including but not limited to the design, functionality, code, and content, are owned by Background Remover or our licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for its intended purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Background Remover will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
